Chess-Ed offers unique, exciting, and dynamic chess instruction that elevates each student to a new level of expertise. Each week, students enjoy engaging lessons along with supervised time to play against their classmates. They expand their understanding of the game, covering topics from the basics to opening theory, middle game tactics, and endgame strategies. As a result, students enhance their vocabulary and math skills. Research shows that students who play chess tend to perform better academically. Playing chess can increase IQ, improve memory, and promote analytical and critical thinking skills. Additionally, it teaches problem-solving, responsibility, sportsmanship, social skills, and more.
