In Safety Town, children will gain an awareness of safety measures. They will role play "real life" situations and learn how to react. They are trained to distinguish between what is safe and unsafe and will learn what to do when danger exists. Topics include street, bus, playground and house safety; field trip safety; railroad and animal dangers; poisons; strangers; fire safety and how to use the telephone in an emergency. Note: If your child has taken a summer Safety Town or a seasonal session, please do NOT sign up for this session as the material is repetitive.
