This Starguard Lifeguard Training Course prepares staff to operate safely, focus on risk prevention, and be ready to act in an event of emergency. Prerequisites: Swimming 50 yards without stopping, Swimming 50 yards with a rescue tube, Treading water for one minute without using your hands, Retrieve a 10 lb brick from the bottom of the pool. All classes will be held at Prairie Lakes Aquatic Center. Class Fee: $0 for new DPPD Staff
