Afternoon Nature Preschool for 3.0-5 year olds is four days. Children bring their lunch and then enjoy an afternoon of preschool activities. Nature-based and developmentally appropriate, our afternoons provide a unique learning experience. This emergent curriculum focuses on exploration and discovery in nature each day. Nature-based learning nurtures the holistic development of children encompassing their physical, cognitive, emotional and social well-being. In natural environments, children engage in unstructured play, exploring their surroundings, manipulating raw materials, and immersing themselves in sensory experiences. The curriculum promotes learning and prepares children for kindergarten as they develop an appreciation for the natural world. Please bring a nut-free lunch.
