Middle School Strength Training Club with ARC Performance will focus on building strength and muscles through proper movement and techniques of common lifts typically seen in the weightroom. Each athlete will learn the basics of how to squat, deadlift, bench press, overhead press and proper pulling movements. Other important components that will be a part of the program include mobility work to enhance overall movement, myofascial release techniques to keep muscle tissues in optimal condition, and a focus on breathing, bracing, and stabilizing the core in order to optimize lifting and prevent injury.
