Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day and Chicago River Day with a canoe trip on the North Shore Channel in search of birds. Evanston’s lakefront, the North Shore Channel, and the Chicago River to the south are important parts of the Mississippi flyway that over 300 species of birds use to migrate north. We will work together to identify some of these birds, as we paddle. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
