Tae Kwon-Do is the most widely practiced martial art in the world. This program develops focus, confidence, self-control, discipline, and respect for others. Students work on anti-bullying, how to de-escalate a potential threat, and if needed, how to defend themselves. Beginning students through 1 year of training will be taught fundamental techniques: stances, strikes, kicks, basic self-defense, fundamental exercises, and the first 3 patterns in the ITF TKD system. Intermediate students with 1 - 4 years of training will develop additional skills and higher-level techniques in striking, kicks, patterns, sparring, self-defense, and breaking. Jiu-Jitsu and Hapkido are also into the curriculum at the intermediate level. Advanced students with 4+ years of training will learn the importance of dedication and hard work, while honing and mastering their skills and techniques.
