Make the right move and learn the fine art of chess. Chess is a wonderful game of skill and strategy that promotes critical thinking and teaches many skills, including problem solving, decision-making, logic, reasoning, patience, and persistence. Learn from certified chess coach Frank Swindell and be able to challenge others at the game. Frank has numerous students in the top 100, and his chess team has won nationals. In 2007, he instructed a kindergarten state champion, an 8th-grade state champion, and a 4-time consecutive state champion. Instruction will be geared toward individual ability, so beginners and advanced students are both welcome. No class on March 23 and May 25.
