Recreation Bus
Enjoy a relaxing day outdoors as we paddle the scenic Kankakee River on this kayaking adventure! Departing from the Irwin Center, this guided day trip offers the perfect blend of recreation and nature as you spend time on the water, take in beautiful river views, and unwind at a comfortable pace. Transportation from the Irwin Center, single-kayak rental, life vest, and paddle are all included. Once on the river, participants can expect approximately five hours of leisurely paddling, with opportunities to enjoy the natural surroundings and camaraderie of fellow adventurers. At the end of kayaking, we will be driven back to the starting point/Rec bus to go back to H-F. Participants are encouraged to bring plenty of water, a sack lunch, and sunscreen to stay comfortable. The trip departs promptly at 9:00 AM and returns to the Irwin Center at approximately 5:00 PM.
