Learn the necessary skills to become a future camp counselor. CITs will participate in weekly leadership instruction including a curriculum based on team building, responsibility, communication, problem solving, and safety. To provide the most effective learning experience, we are asking for a five-week commitment from participants. If your child is interested in the Counselor in Training program, contact Laureen Baumgartner at lbaumgartner@fvpd.net to schedule an interview. Interviews must be scheduled no later than April 1st. All participants must be 14 years old by June 1. While we appreciate all applicants, we have a selective process and can only move forward with candidates who closely align with our CIT requirements.
