Your child will acquire rhythm, coordination and self-esteem from tap and develop poise, grace and self-confidence in the ballet portion. In these introductory classes your child will move through basic technique taught at the barre or in center, basic steps and traveling combinations. They will learn combinations and improve their memory. Ballet and tap shoes are required. Dance class will perform in a Spring Recital that will be in May 2026- dates & location is TBD. All participants must attend the costume fitting during class in January. A separate costume fee of $55-$80 will be charged to the participants. The fee is non-refundable. If you withdraw from a dance class for any reason after the costumes are ordered, you will still receive a costume. Students must have a costume to participate in the Dance Recital.
