This class provides an introduction to the gentle art of Tai Chi. Emphasis will be placed on learning basic movements within 24 Form Tai Chi. This class moves at a slower pace than the ongoing class. Students are allowed the additional time and attention that may be needed to build a foundation from which to enjoy the practice of the form in its entirety. With a focus on balance, concentration, and coordination of movement, students will experience all the health benefits provided by Tai Chi. This class can be taken alone or together with the beginning/ongoing class. Instructors: Dr. Xiaoping Xu and Maura Clark
