The Naperville Premier Soccer League University is an opportunity for 1st grade teams to receive specialized training, while still cultivating a recreational experience. Teams receive one training session per week with a certified soccer trainer, and have games with their volunteer coach on Saturdays. This is a recreational program, no scores or standings are kept. Games are played against NYS teams and must follow the NYS policies such as no running-up of scores. Referees will not be utilized; teams will use parent volunteers and coaches as referees and linesmen. Players must wear the NYS reversible jersey. Non-residents are charged an additional $20 per player which is collected during the roster process. A $200 non-refundable deposit with auto-draw payment plan set-up or full payment is due at the time of registration. The last day to register or withdraw and receive a refund minus the $200 deposit is June 16. There are 7 games in the season and 9 weeks of training. Practices begin the week of August 25 and the first game is September 12.
