<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">New Horizons Band DuPage provides musical instrument instruction and music-making for active adults and seniors, including those with no previous musical experience and those who have been musically inactive. </span><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Learn how to read music and play a musical instrument, or jump right in and participate in a concert band (musical instrument experience required). Every person has musical potential that can be developed to a level that will be personally rewarding. Individuals are encouraged to practice on their own outside of class and may be invited to perform in concerts at the end of each season. Each participant must own, purchase, rent or borrow the band instrument that they choose to play. New Horizons Band DuPage has some instruments that can be rented or can suggest locations where instruments can be rented or purchased. Music method books are required for the beginner and intermediate classes. Payment of $10 will be collected at the first class (price subject to change).
