This program is designed to improve each child's swimming skills at his or her own pace. Swimmers are placed by skill level and each participant will learn water safety skills appropriate to their level. Level 1 class size is 2-4 students; Levels 2-7 class size is 3-5 students. Swimming requires advanced motor coordination that takes practice; it is normal for a swimmer to remain at the same level for more than one session. If, after a session begins, we believe a swimmer has been placed in an inappropriate level, we will make the adjustment to ensure that every child will feel comfortable at their assigned level.
