Swim Level 4 is for students to improve skills in front crawl, back crawl, and elementary backstroke. Students will learn the breaststroke, butterfly, and sidestroke. Prerequisites: a Level 3 certificate or swim assessment required to enroll. Additional Information For successful completion of this level, students must demonstrate the ability to effectively complete 25 yards of front crawl, back crawl, and elementary backstroke, along with 15 yards of breaststroke, butterfly, and sidestroke. Diving, safety, and deep-water skills are built upon as well as basic turns at the wall, and safety assists.
