Learn how to carve your own block prints, AKA stamps! Printing has been used since ancient times (as far back as 4th millennium BCE in Sumeria) so that humans can easily express themselves through the reproduction of patterns, text and more. In this workshop, artist Mari Miller will teach you how to transfer a sketch to a rubber block, then carve and print it. You'll learn about basic supplies and affordable alternatives so you can leave class with finished prints and all the info you need to keep making your own blocks at home.
