May in Motion is a citywide initiative to motivate Chicagoans of all ages to get moving. The class focuses on various fitness components including any and all functional movements of everyday life. Both cardiovascular and muscle strength and endurance. It increases gains in core strength, endurance, flexibility. This class often incorporates exercises traditionally seen in the weight room setting, mixed in with various aerobics exercises and body weight. All fitness levels welcome. This event will be the kickoff to a month of movement in the parks! May in Motion is about promoting movement in any form!
