May in Motion is a citywide initiative to motivate Chicagoans of all ages to get moving. The class focuses on various fitness components including both cardiovascular and muscle strength and endurance by doing HIIT. Increases gains in core strength, endurance, and flexibility. This class often incorporates exercises traditionally seen in the weight room setting, mixed in with various aerobic exercises. Some classes may involve resistance bands, physioballs, and/or handheld weights. All fitness levels welcome. This event will be the kickoff to a month of movement in the parks! May in Motion is about promoting movement in any form!
