The camp is designed to introduce and develop proper shot put and discus techniques in a safe, structured, and encouraging environment. Participants will progress through skill-specific drills, event instruction, and strength-based movements that support throwing performance. Coaches will provide individualized feedback to help athletes build confidence, improve technique, and increase throwing efficiency. This camp is ideal for both beginner and experienced throwers preparing for the upcoming track and field season or looking to strengthen their overall throwing skills. Athletes will leave camp with a stronger understanding of shot put and discus fundamentals while having fun and staying active in a positive, team-oriented atmosphere. Camp Focus Areas: Shot put grip, stance, and release, discus grip, rotation, and release, footwork, balance, and body control, core strength and power development, safety rules and proper throwing procedures
