Spring Soccer: 1st/2nd Grade

About This Activity

Not only is it the most popular sport in the world, soccer is the most popular youth sport in America. Soccer provides the opportunity for your child to have a great time while learning teamwork, developing individual skills, and maintaining physical fitness. This is an all-gender league.Teams are divided by the Park & Recreation Department staff with volunteer coaches instructing participants the game. The size of the ball and field are proportional to the age of the participants to help build skills, rules knowledge, and game strategies. Participants will receive a jersey. Practices are held on Thursdays from 5:30 to 6305 PM, games will be played on Saturday at Douglas Park. If needed, Tuesday nights will be make up games. Shin guards and athletic shoes are required for play. Opening day Jamboree will be Saturday March 28th at Douglas Park. Early Bird Registration before February 6th: $55 Registration from February 7th - March 6th: $58 Registration Deadline is March 6th
