Douglas Park
Soccer is the #1 played sport in the world. This program is for all youth in PreK. This is an all-gender league that is designed to provide fun, recreational soccer practice and play during which participants learn basic skills and rules of the game. There will be smaller fields with no goalies, setting a faster pace for the games, higher scores, and giving each child the opportunity to touch the ball more often. Teams are divided by the Park & Recreation Department staff with volunteer coaches instructing participants the game. Teams will meet on Saturday mornings at Douglas Park. Participants will receive a team jersey. Shin guards and athletic shoes are required for play. Opening Day Jamboree will be Saturday, March 28th @ Douglas Park.
