Tot Rock, Kid Rock & Family Rock by Rock 'N' Kids AGES: 1 - 5 YEARS WITH ADULT Sing, dance, play, learn and imagine with us! This movement-based program uses music to facilitate learning. Activities include use of rhythm instruments and movement props, work on gross and fine motor skills, including balance and coordination and engagement of imaginative play. ABOUT ROCK 'N' KIDS: Rock ‘N’ Kids has been enriching young children’s lives through music and movement since 1995! All programs involve music, movement and imaginative play, based on an educational theme. Rock ‘N’ Kids, the Barrington Park District and the Dundee Park District have teamed up to offer evening classes for those families who cannot attend the morning sessions. All evening classes will be held at the Dundee Park District at their Rakow Center. See the address below. Instructor: Rock ‘n’ Kids Staff Fee: $47/$58 (4 wks) Class Locations: Friday AM Classes: Barrington Park District, F&RC – John Sullivan A Thursday PM Classes: Dundee Park District, Rakow Center, 665 Barrington Ave., Dundee EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM GUIDELINES: - Adult Participation is Required: This is a parent/caregiver participation class. Please be ready to join in the fun and stay actively involved throughout the session. -Siblings: For safety and focus, unregistered siblings (including babies unless they can be worn or remain in a carrier) may not attend or observe the class. -Children and adults in gym classes must wear socks at all times. Please, no bare feet for sanitary reasons. Shoes are removed before entering the room. -There is a new curriculum for each session in all classes. -Children must be the required age by the first day of class.
