This will be a memorable trip full of culture and indulgence. We will start our day at Jameson’s Charhouse for a delectable meal. All lunches include a meal selection made at the restaurant, soup and salad. Drinks included are soda, water or tea. Then we will attend a Chamber Music Concert at Historic Ravinia Festival. This concert will be at an indoor stage with seats. The Piano & Strings Program at the Steans Institute focuses on interpreting classical sonatas and chamber music through deep collaboration in small groups. They engage in intensive rehearsals and receive guidance from leading artists, who help them refine their craft and enhance their interpretive skills and creative insights. The grounds will be open to explore if you are interested. The music will be piped out to the lawn. After the show, we will stop for a self-pay sweet treat on the way home. Hope to see you there! Transportation provided via Park District Bus.Considerable walking is involved with this trip. Registration deadline is June 30 and refunds will not be issued after. (Min/Max 4/14).
