We offer quality care for your child before and after school for K-6th grade. The program is relaxed and recreational-based to counter-balance the day's educational activities. Children enjoy activities, games, and outdoor play, as well as a variety of arts and crafts before and after school. Parents are responsible for contacting the District 56 Transportation Office for busing arrangements. District 56 Before School CARE is provided at the Viking Park Dance Hall for Kindergarten through 5th Grade students. While After School CARE for District 56 students is provided at River Trail School (K-6). For those students who attend Spaulding, Prairie Trail and Viking Middle School, your child will be bused to River Trail School for after school CARE. This program follows the District 56 school calendar. Wednesday Late Start Days are included in the monthly fee for Before School CARE. Early Release Days are included in the monthly fee for after school CARE. School Days Off Programs are provided on non-school days for an additional fee. A minimum of one month’s payment is due at the time of registration. The fees listed are per month. (MB) Children may bring their own breakfast in the morning.
