Hawthorn Kindergarten Building
PALS is designed to provide positive before and after school activities for elementary students within a safe, secure, and enriching environment. Under the supervision of our trained and qualified leadership staff, your child will have the opportunity to engage in education and recreation activities geared to the interest of the participants. All activities are designed to foster teamwork, health and wellness, positive attitudes, and self-esteem. All PALS PM programs (North, TL/DL, South, Aspen, and Kindergarten) will be held at Hawthorn School for Young Learners (HSYL), located at 637 N. Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills, IL 60061. District 73 buses will transport students to HSYL. Please note: The Park District will not be able to provide transportation from any after-school enrichment classes held at North, South, TL/DL, or Aspen to PALS. Please note that this specific program is for after school (PM) care only. A separate registration will be required for before school (AM) care. Registration for the PM program does not guarantee a spot in the AM program. Additionally, there is a minimum of two days per week to enroll in PALS.
