This class is for puppies (22 weeks and older) and adult dogs with previous intermediate level training. The program is designed to be interactive and inclusive of the whole family. Let’s get our AKC Canine Good Citizen title! This is very important step for future therapy dogs and well mannered pups! In this class we will break down all of the AKC CGC test items and finish the class off with the chance to earn your CGC title. Put your skills to the test!<div><br></div><div>• Accepting a friendly stranger</div><div>• Sitting politely for petting</div><div>• Appearance and grooming</div><div>• Out for a walk on loose leash</div><div>• Walking through a crowd</div><div>• Sit and down on cue and stay in place</div><div>• Coming when called</div><div>• Reaction to another dog</div><div>• Reaction to distraction</div><div>• Supervised Separation</div><div><br></div><div>Classes are provided by certified trainer and behavior consultant, Angela DePalma, with Sit, Stay, Thrive. Dogs displaying any type of aggression are not a good fit for this class and will be turned away at the trainer’s discretion. Vaccinations records are required prior to starting the program.
