The Counselor in Training (CIT) Program is designed for teens who are interested in developing leadership skills, gaining hands-on experience and preparing for future employment opportunities. Each week begins with a training session where participants will explore topics such as leadership development, interviewing skills, activity planning, behavior management and more. After training, CITs will be placed at one of our day camps for campers ages 5-7. There, they will assist staff with daily activities, lead games and crafts, and support campers during field trips. This unique experience allows participants to practice teamwork, responsibility and problem-solving in a fun and supportive environment.
