PAFA SPIRIT CHEERLEADING Interested in the sport of Cheer? PAFA Spirit is a feeder program for our local high schools! Our squads consist of athletes in grades 1-8. We offer Mini Cheer (1st-2nd grade) and Sideline Cheer (3rd-8th) for the football season. Gain skills in performing, jumps, stunts, and cheer technique! We cheer at football games on weekends in support of the PAFA Panthers travel program. Our season begins in late July (evenings). FOOTBALL SIDELINE CHEER: Practice 3 nights a week (beginning July 21) until school starts - then 1 night a week through October. We will cheer at play-offs and championship games the first few weeks of November if played. REGISTRATION: Registration for the 2026 season begins April 1 and closes May 25. Registration fee includes a PAFA Spirit t-shirt. Anyone registering for Sideline Cheer prior to April 15 will receive a $10 discount on the registration fee. Siblings in Sideline Cheer receive a $25 discount. There are mandatory supplies to purchase which will be ordered in June and delivered at a parent meeting in July. Supply purchases are non-refundable. New Sideline participants can expect to spend roughly an additional $140 on supplies, not including shoes. As in any sport, in order to cheer at all games and competitions, attendance and commitment to the team is required! We also strongly encourage all participants to enroll in tumbling classes. SIDELINE REFUND POLICY: 100% less $5 processing fee through July 21; 50% less $5 processing fee through July 29. No refund issued after July 30. MINI REFUND POLICY: Full refunds can be issued up until class begins. No refunds after the first class.
