Experience the magic of the North Pole Express! The North Pole Express comes to life when the train departs from the Palatine Train Station for a special trip to Woodstock Il. (a. k. a. The North Pole). Cookies will be provided for parent and child to decorate for a special treat. We will also enjoy hot cider and hot chocolate. During our stay a storyteller will tell magical holiday stories and we will have a visit from a special guest. Trip 1- Meet at the Palatine Train Station at 9:00am. The train leaves the station at 9:24 and return to Palatine at 12:25pm. Trip 2- Meet at the Palatine Train Station at 11:00am. The train will leave the station at 11:24 and return to Palatine at 2:25pm Trip 3- Meet at the Palatine Train Station at 1:00pm. The train will leave the station at 1:24 and return to Palatine at 4:25pm Entries for the North Pole Express lottery will take place on Monday, July 27. Entries will be accepted online from 8:30 am-8:30 pm. Note: Only in-district residents are eligible. All participants, including adults, must enter the lottery for a spot. Families will be grouped together. Please only enter the lottery for one trip. Families selected will be notified by Wednesday, August 5 to complete their registration payment. Please note: So that we can allow more children to participate in this very popular event, we ask that no more than two adults per family. -Registration is non-transferable, and ID's will be checked at the station.
