In between lyrical descriptions of encounters with blackbirds, hen harriers, frogs, dandelions, bats and Irish hares, he offers insights into the everyday struggles of a teenager living with autism. August: “Frog Day" by Marty Crump leads readers on a worldwide field trip in search of frogs. Each chapter covers a single frog during a single hour, highlighting how twenty-four different species spend their time.
