CPR, AED & First Aid: Please read the full description of each class below to ensure you register for the correct class. Blended classes: online/on-site Instruction – differ on course content, training, and age requirements. Students must sign up for a class at least 1 week in advance to obtain a learning link via email that must be completed prior to attending the on-site class to be eligible for the skills portion of the class. This course is best completed on a desktop or laptop computer. Students must be able to physically participate and demonstrate all hands-on skills to achieve the certification. Once the learning link is sent the class is not refundable. Wear comfortable clothing to the skills class. Questions call Jonathan at 847-360-4708. Blended Basic First Aid, CPR & AED class for Infant, Child, and Adult: Learn the same skills as the Basic on-site/ in-person class but with a blended learning style that allows you to self-study through a self-paced online class (about 3 hours) and an in-person class (3 hours) to learn and demonstrate competency in the hands-on skills. Knowledge check questions are part of the self-study. Class materials including a digital reference book and digital completion card received within one week of completing the hands-on portion of the class. This class will satisfy DCFS childcare requirements. This class will not satisfy a BLS requirement. Students will receive a certification valid for two years, upon successful completion of the course. Wear comfortable clothing.
