Registration Participants may register online, or complete a sports registration form at the Alcott Center and include full payment anytime between May 18 and July 12. If you haven’t done so already, visit the website to set up your account information before online registration begins on May 18. You will be required to fill out a sports registration form and attach full payment. Uniform All players are required to wear the official Buffalo Grove Park District flag football jersey, introduced in Spring 2024. This blue and gray reversible jersey can be purchased for $45 during registration. If a participant does not already own a current jersey, one must be purchased. Required Equipment Football cleats or gym shoes (metal or screw-in cleats are not allowed)Mouth guard Official jersey (mandatory for games) Water bottle (recommended for all practices and games) Season Teams will practice once a week beginning in mid-August. Games begin the weekend after Labor Day and will be played on Saturdays; a couple of games may be played on Sunday if necessary. The season will consist of 8 games for grade 1 - 4. Grades 5 - 8 will play 7 regular season games (including one weeknight game under the lights) followed by playoffs. Flags and balls will be provided to teams.
