Our early childhood classes are a perfect start for students ages 2 - 6. Children are introduced to the world of dance through music, games, and creative play. We will work on following directions in a group, the concept of left and right, moving across the floor, balancing and sequencing exercises, free expression to music, body awareness and coordination, and of course the basics of ballet. Creative movement Tap is introduced in Tippy Toes and jazz/hip hop is introduced in Plie N Pop. Students must be age appropriate for the first day of class. Our studio follows a specific dress code for all classes. This helps promote uniformity within the classroom. Please make sure to consult the dress code before purchasing dance attire and shoes. NEW THIS YEAR- all dancers in Bitty Ballet, Tippy Toes and Plie N Pop will be given a leotard and tights (or black pants and a white shirt) included with their class fee.
