Lil Leaguers Baseball: Juniors (ages 2-3) The Juniors baseball program is designed to give children an opportunity to begin their baseball playing experience in a fun and supportive environment. During the class, activities are introduced to promote proper balance, equipment, hand eye coordination, following directions and early baseball fundamentals. Players of all skill sets will be able to participate and learn the great game of baseball! Players should bring their own gloves, helmets and bats will be provided. Parent participation is required for this program. Lil Leaguers Baseball: Rookies (ages 4-6) The Rookies program is designed to progress children through their early baseball experience. Simple skills acquired in the Juniors division are reinforced and other aspects of the game are introduced in a fun and supportive environment. Fielding, throwing, catching, and hitting are focused on each week, with the aim to introduce players to a controlled scrimmage by the end of the session. Players of all skill sets will be able to participate and learn the great game of baseball! Players should bring their own gloves, helmets and bats will be provided.
