This program is a fun, hands-on 5.5 hour class designed for students in grades 6 and up. Participants gain babysitting basics, child care techniques, safety and rescue skills, first aid knowledge and tips for running a successfull babysitting business. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a SafeSitter Certification. All materials will be provided. At the conclusion of the Workshop, parents are invited to watch the Graduation Ceremony where participants are awarded their SafeSitter Certification for completing the course! Students should bring a lunch, snack and water bottle to class.
