These entry-level classes are specifically designed for your little one! The Parent/child and Snowplow Sam levels are introductory classes divided into four progressive levels, helping children new to skating build confidence while learning the ABCs of movement — agility, balance, coordination, and speed. Classes are a safe and positive environment incorporating fun and games with our friendly instructors, using the United States Figure Skating guidelines and standards. Before their first skating class, we do an equipment check to ensure proper fit and lacing of skates, appropriate attire (jacket, long pants, gloves/mittens) and safety helmets (bicycle or hockey helmets work!). We also practice falling and recovery and one-foot balances. *Skate rental included* Snowplow Sam is for those with some experience on the ice and are able to stand independently on skates.
