This class’s stage is Trust and Submersion. For the child who is afraid of water, cannot swim, or will not get their face wet. Safety Skill Benchmark: Always ask permission before getting in the water. Swim Skill Benchmark: Assisted submersion, relaxed, for 5 seconds; then come up to breathe. Average Age: 5-7 years Sessions include 8 classes and 2 makeup dates that will be used if one of the 8 classes is cancelled due to inclement weather.
