Beginning students will develop basic wheel throwing and hand building techniques. All levels are welcome to attend, but focus will be on the foundations of ceramic with guidance for intermediate students. Wheel throwing will focus on center, throw, and trimming. Hand building will focus on slab, coil and pinch work. Class fee includes 12.5lb of clay, use of specialty tools, kiln firings, and glaze. Cancellations and withdrawals must be done 5 days before start of class to avoid a $50 cancellation fee.
