Simkus Rec Ctr
The Carol Stream Bike Riding Club is a group of recreational bike riders of all levels who want to explore the bike trails in DuPage and Kane County. Carol Stream is unique since it offers off road trails in every direction, including ones that connect to the Great Western and Prairie Path. <div><br></div><div>All rides leave from the Simkus Recreation Center at 6pm on the 2nd Thursday, and 9am on the 4th Saturday, starting the end of April through October. No experience necessary, bike helmets and light are strongly encouraged.</div><div><br></div><div>Club members may participate in as many rides as they like. Thursday rides are shorter/slower paced; around 8-12 miles. Saturday rides are longer covering 20+ miles. When possible, rides will be split into two groups (slow and fast). We ride as a group; no rider is left behind. All rides will take place on off-road bike paths. In case of inclement weather, rides will be cancelled 1.5 hours before the scheduled departure. Family members must all live in the same household. Bike Club shirts are available for purchase.</div><div><br></div><div>All fees are tax deductible and 100% of proceeds go to the Carol Stream Parks Foundation. </div>
