Come celebrate National Mushroom Month by learning all about these magical decomposers right under our noses. The class will spend time reading a story, looking at samples, and discussing fungi in the classroom. After, the group will take a hike around Spring Valley to look for mushrooms, including the newly minted state mushroom, The Giant Puffball. Ages: 7-10 yr. Park and meet at St. Matthew’s Church entrance (1001 E. Schaumburg Rd.).
