Culinary Week invites Camp Flight participants into the practice of nourishment as both skill and responsibility. Students explore how to prepare simple, healthy meals while learning the foundations of nutrition, food safety, and kitchen confidence. A central thread of the experience is self-sufficiency—understanding how to select, prepare, and combine ingredients in ways that support the body and mind. Whenever possible, meals are created using what students have harvested themselves, connecting the full cycle from soil to plate. Beyond cooking, the week builds awareness and discipline. Participants begin to see how their food choices impact energy, focus, and overall well-being. They learn to plan, collaborate, and adapt, gaining practical life skills that extend far beyond the kitchen. Culinary Week becomes more than preparing meals—it is about cultivating independence, respect for resources, and the ability to sustain oneself with intention.
