Participants will be taught a variety of bookbinding techniques in which to create their own books, both as practical, everyday objects and as pieces of art. The class will cover techniques for all levels of experience, from simple fold-and-glue structures to coptic stitch binding. Other techniques offered: single signature, western multiple signature, accordion, accordion with signatures, two-sewn-as-one, stab stitch binding, tunnel book, flower fold, and more.
