Grades 3-8 Basketball League Our popular Youth Basketball Leagues (Grades 3-8) return again in 2027! All players will receive a uniform and basketball with the cost of registration. Practices will take place on either Tuesday or Thursday evenings between 6:00-9:00P for the 3rd-8th grade level with games on Sundays. Practice and team requests will not be honored for this league. There will be a limit of 10 players on each team to maximize playing time. Special requests for team placement cannot be granted. Practices will officially start the week of January 5 and will take place once a week on either Tuesday or Thursday evenings. All practices will be aimed at fundamental skill instruction and preparation for league play. Regular season games for the 3rd-8th grade leagues will be played on Sundays from 9:00A-4:00P. Due to school availability, some games may take place on Saturday. 3rd-8th grade leagues, will compete in an annual end-of-season tournament. All practices and games for all leagues will take place in Oak Park. Times and days subject to change based on facility availability. Volunteer Head Coaches will contact players with information regarding your child's practice time and location. Please note that your child's practice schedule will be consistent for the entire season (same gym, day & time). Volunteer coaches will select their practice location, time and day of the week based on their availability. This league is dependent on the utilization of volunteer coaches.
