Dole Center Studio 5 - Dance/Fitness (2nd Floor)
“Mindful Movement” is a holistic wellness class designed to connect the mind and body through physical and reflective exercises. These sessions are led by Marea: an artist, healing circle facilitator, and a compassionate, experienced instructor with a 200-hour Certification in Yoga and a background in both Eastern and Western wellness traditions. Each session begins gently with Yin, Hatha, and Anusara Yoga, stretch, and core strength exercises. The class then moves away the mat, chair and pilates ball and into creative outlets such as journaling and expressive art exercises. Special attention and care are given for issues such as knee, back, hip pain or mobility restraints. Students will grow their confidence in body awareness, self-reflection, and the subtle changes that come with mindful practice. Whether you're seeking stress relief, rejuvenation, pain management, or a deeper self-connection, Mindful Movement offers a supportive space for you to grow. All levels are welcome!
