The following are objectives we will focus on during the boot camp… Improved Agility and Quickness: Dedicated fitness training, such as ladder drills and plyometrics, can improve this. Enhanced Endurance and Stamina: Cardiovascular fitness is needed to maintain high performance levels. Increased Strength and Power: Strength training helps with serving, hitting groundstrokes, and executing volleys. Better Flexibility and Mobility: This is important for injury prevention and a full range of motion. Injury Prevention: A fitness program that targets specific muscles used in tennis and focuses on recovery can prevent common injuries. The first hour of the class will focus on fitness, strength, conditioning, injury prevention and the last hour of the class will focus on dead ball drills using some strength and agility drills to practice movement on the court.
