The Academy at Inwood is dedicated to the development and training of figure skaters. This program meets multiple days per week and includes a comprehensive on ice and off ice curriculum designed to meet the needs of skaters at all levels. This summer training program is open to all interested skaters in level 7 or above – no audition is required. Skaters who have not yet tested into level 7 should contact the Academy at Inwood prior to registration. Please e-mail academyatinwood@jolietpark.org for additional information. Academy tuition may be paid in full at time of registration or paid in even monthly payments. If choosing the monthly payment option, registration must be completed in person and a credit card must be left on file. Monthly tuition payments for the summer session will include four even payments with the first payment due at the time of registration and remaining payments due in June, July and August. Skaters enrolled in the partial summer program will have the opportunity to select 5 out of the 9 weeks for the summer session. Selections must be approved by the Academy at Inwood prior June 1. Total Academy enrollment in any week may not exceed 30 skaters. Freestyle ice is not included with enrollment in the partial summer program.
