Blue Camp Grades K-3 (2026-2027 School Year) Haines Wayside Park/Haines Elementary School Green Camp Grades 4-7 (2026-2027 School Year) Walker Country Estates Park/Liberty Junior High Camp Wewannago is designed to provide a safe, structured, and fun environment for children in kindergarten through third grade and fourth through seventh grade. Your child's day will be filled with group activities, games, sports, arts and crafts, and field trips. Camp Wewannago is staffed with trained employees who will be wearing neon yellow staff shirts so they can be easily seen. NOTE: Some field trips will travel up to 45 minutes away. Important Information: *Camp Wewannago is split into 2 different groups and locations: *Camp Wewannago Blue, grades K-3 will be held at Haines Elementary School/Haines Wayside Park *Camp Wewannago Green, grades 4-7 will be held at Liberty Junior High School/Walker Country Estates Park *Campers are required to wear their camp T-shirt every day *Blue Campers in grades K-3 will wear blue Camp Wewannago T-shirts *Green Campers in grades 4-7 will wear green Camp Wewannago T-shirts *T-shirts are available for purchase at $12 each. - Camp T-shirts will be available to pick up when you pay your one-time nonrefundable registration fee of $37. If you pay these fees online, you will need to come to the Administration Building, 701 W. Haven Ave. to pick up your Camp T-shirt *Each camper will be required to bring lunch and drink each day (unless otherwise noted) *Any field trips scheduled are included in the weekly fee *Camp Wewannago goes on a number of field trips outside of New Lenox and will travel by school bus as far as 45-50 minutes away to some of our destinations *On water days, be sure to send your child in a swimsuit, with a towel and spray sunscreen *In case of inclement weather or extreme heat, we will utilize the schools for the day *If extended care is needed before and/or after camp, we encourage you to register for our before and after camp care *Daily enrollment will be available after your one-time nonrefundable $37 registration fee has been paid *After paying the registration fee, attached to your receipt will be a Parent Welcome Information Letter *Weekly payment is due on Tuesday of the previous week, or a $25 late fee will be charged per camper until Thursday at Noon. No registrations will be taken at that time. *Spots fill up, so it is recommended to register for your enrollment dates early ePACT for Camp Wewannago All families are required to use ePACT. ePACT information MUST be completed prior to the first day participant attends the program. ePACT is a secure emergency network, that we will use to collect medical and emergency contact information electronically. Days/Time: Mon-Fri, 9:00am to 3:30pm Dates: 6/1 - 6/5 6/8 - 6/12 7/6 - 7/10 6/15 - 6/19 7/13 - 7/17 6/22 - 6/26 7/20 - 7/24 6/29 - 7/3 7/27 - 7/31 Camp held at LCC for both Blue and Green: 8/3 - 8/7 and 8/10 - 8/14
