This class is geared towards young teens interested in becoming a lifeguard. In this class, we introduce the skills taught in the lifeguard training program including CPR, First Aid, how to identify potential hazards in the aquatic environment and aquatic safety issues. On June 26th and July 10th (8:30-11:30am), participants have a chance to shadow Park District lifeguards to gain a better understanding of the diligence and commitment required to be a successful lifeguard. Bring a towel and lock to store your things in the locker room. Fee includes Junior Life Guard T-shirt.
