Woodridge Park District dance program is designed to improve grace and flexibility while exposing participants to the beauty and benefits of dance. This advanced tap class is the next step after beginning tap. Skills should be performed both clearly and with ease at a face pace. This class includes additional optional performance opportunities. 4 years of dance or instructor approval. Tap shoes are required.Dance class will perform in a Spring Recital that will be in May 2026- dates & location is TBD. All participants must attend the costume fitting during class in January. A separate costume fee of $55-$80 will be charged to the participants. The fee is non-refundable. If you withdraw from a dance class for any reason after the costumes are ordered, you will still receive a costume. Students must have a costume to participate in the Dance Recital. Supervisor: Kathi Wencewicz Dance Attire Girls: Proper Tap shoes required; leotard and tights preferred for classes Boys: Proper Tap shoes required; shorts & T-shirts or sweatsuit.
